SEPTEMBER 3, 2026—A DAY TO REMEMBER

A GOODLY NUMBER OF AMERICANS—DEMOCRATS, REPUBLICANS, AND INDEPENDENTS—HAVE SPOKEN. They’ve said enough is enough. Indeed, more than enough of “national security” dicta. More than enough of alienating our country to our allies. More than enough of “Dumocrats” and other insults. More than enough of using the DOJ in personal vendettas. More than enough of lies. More than enough of denials of reality.

A Final Fillip. Imagine the audacity of a president believing he was “absolutely willing” to accept the results of the midterm elections.

It is a continued lamentable state of Trump’s personality that he should believe such a statement be deemed newsworthy.

Trump’s other comments on prices, the economy, the Iran war, and blaming Republican losses on the fact that he was not on the ballot only stress his continued lack of rationality.

A Day to Remember. In the history of our country, September 3, 2026, should be regarded as pivotal. It’s a goodly number of us saying “Enough is Enough!”

Let’s hope and pray that good things evolve from this electoral attempt at restoring rationality. ds
