TRUMP CHAOS PART 1

OUR VERY STABLE GENIUS reaches new levels of insane retribution seemingly each day. Here, in Parts 1 and 2 today and tomorrow, are tidbits gleaned from timely news sources.

The 2020 Election Redux. Domenico Montanaro reports in NPR, April 11, 2025, “4 Takeaways from the Week: In a World That Craves Stability, Trump Brings the Chaos.” In particular, he writes, Trump vowed ‘retribution’ for his 2020 election loss as a candidate and, in office, has certainly followed through with his vendettas. On Wednesday, he signed executive orders targeting a law firm that represented Dominion Voting Systems, which won a nearly $788 million defamation lawsuit against Fox News, and he went after two former Trump 1.0 officials.” 

Montanaro observes, “the administration has targeted anyone who appears to get in the way of Trump’s agenda—and propaganda.” The latter, e.g., outright lies.

An “Administrative Error.” Lucy Campbell (and agencies) recounts in The Guardian, April 11, 2025, “Trump DoJ Unable to Tell Court Where Man Wrongly Deported to El Salvador Is.”

What’s more, Campbell describes, “The justice department in a supreme court filing on 7 April stated that while Abrego García was deported to El Salvador through ‘administrative error,’ his actual removal from the United States ‘was not error.’ The error, department lawyers wrote, was in removing him specifically to El Salvador despite the deportation protection order.” 

What kind of lawyer slime is this?? Even in defiance of a Supreme Court statement in this regard. 

Add to this, press secretary Karoline Leavitt offered her own legalistic slime when she said the Supreme Court’s ruling “made it very clear that it’s the administration’s responsibility to ‘facilitate’ the return, not to ‘effectuate’ the return.” 

In the meantime, Abrego Garcia remains God knows where.

A Pituffik Firing. Qasim Nauman reports in The New York Times, April 11, 2025, “U.S. Military Removes Commander in Greenland After Vance Visit.” Nauman recounts, “The decision to remove Col. Susannah Meyers was announced in a statement by the U.S. Space Force that was posted on social media by Sean Parnell, the chief spokesman for the Pentagon. While the statement didn’t cite a specific reason for her removal, Mr. Parnell said that ‘actions to undermine the chain of command or to subvert President Trump’s agenda will not be tolerated.’ ” 

Geez, given Signalgate and all, what might Col. Susannah Meyers have said?

While visiting the base, Vance tried his snarky “Zelenskyy, you’re not holding your own” routine on Denmark. Then, Nauman recounts, “On March 31, Colonel Meyers emailed the staff at Pituffik saying that the concerns of the Trump administration as expressed by Mr. Vance did not reflect the views of the base leadership, according to excerpts published by military.com.”

“ ‘Commanders are expected to adhere to the highest standards of conduct, especially as it relates to remaining nonpartisan in the performance of their duties,’ the Space Force said in the statement.” 

Wyoming News Now described her message as “seemingly aimed at generating unity among the airmen and guardians, as well as the Canadians, Danes and Greenlanders who work there, following Vance’s appearance.” 

Apparently anything but abject groveling constitutes a “partisan” view. 

By the way, the article noted, “In addition to U.S. military personnel, civilian contractors from Greenland, Denmark and Canada also live and work at Pituffik (pronounced bee-doo-FEEK). [It used to be Thule Air Base.] Colonel Meyers became the commander of the 821st Space Base Group, which runs Pituffik, last July.”

Last July, eh? Another of those sleepy Joe actions? If our Queens Felon ever learns that Biden sits on a toilet…. No; let’s not go there.
