THE ACTIONS OF A QUEENS FELON

SUCCINCTLY, THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES have elected a Queens felon to our highest office. He demands utter loyalty. (Read about Gen. Timothy D. Haugh below; recall James Comey.) He rules by intimidation. (How often have we read, “said anonymously for fear of retribution”?) He has surrounded himself with those whose primary qualifications are ignorance and toadyism. (Recall Signalgate; think Laura Loomer.) And he is attempting protection rackets, both nationally and internationally. (Only time will determine the efficacy of these.)

Headlines tell the story: “Firing of National Security Agency Chief Rattles Lawmakers.” “Justice Dept. Accuses Top Immigration Lawyer of Failing to Follow Orders.” “President’s Third Term Talk Defies Constitution and Tests Democracy.” “With Universities Threatened, Can Boston Still Be Boston?” “A Playbook for Standing Up to President Trump.” And “Trump Family’s Cash Registers Ring as Financial Meltdown Plays Out.”

Here are tidbits gleaned from the first of these articles. Yes, they all appear in The New York Times within the last few days. Also cited are BBC and Wikipedia. Should I trust instead Fox News for anything resembling balanced coverage?

Following a Conspiracy Theorist’s Advice. On April 5, 2025, Julian E. Barnes writes, “Gen. Timothy D. Haugh, who was also the head of U.S. Cyber Command, was one of several national security officials fired on the advice of a conspiracy theorist.”

General Haugh,” Barnes recounts, “was ousted because Laura Loomer, a far-right wing conspiracy theorist and Trump advisor, had accused him and his deputy of disloyalty, according to U.S. officials and Ms. Loomer’s social media post early Friday.”

Who is Ms. Loomer Anyway? “You want her on your side,” Trump said, according to BBC, April 4, 2025. Bernd Debusmann Jr. and Merlyn Thomas report, “She is well-known for her anti-Muslim rhetoric and for spreading conspiracy theories, including that the 9/11 attacks were an ‘inside job’ carried out by the US government.”

They continue, “Another outspoken Trump supporter, Marjorie Taylor Greene, took issue with Ms. Loomer during Trump’s campaign over her comments questioning Trump’s rival Harris’s race and a post in which she said the White House ‘will smell like curry’ if Harris—who is partly of Indian descent—were to be elected. Greene said Ms. Loomer’s comments were ‘appalling and extremely racist’ and did ‘not represent who we are as Republicans or MAGA.’ ”

Geez. This from the bleach-blonde, bad-built butch body of Jewish Laser fame.

Other Loomer Theories. Wikipedia writes, “Loomer has falsely claimed that school shootings in February 2018 in Parkland, Florida, and in May 2018 in Santa Fe, Texas, were staged, and that the perpetrator of the 2017 Las Vegas shootings was affiliated with ISIS. She claimed on Twitter that crisis actors were used for the Santa Fe school shooting.” Furthermore, “Loomer falsely claimed that a winter storm that occurred before the 2024 Iowa Republican presidential caucuses was created by the American deep state using High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) in order to benefit the electoral chances of presidential candidate Nikki Haley.”

I believe these qualify Loomer as just what’s needed as a confidant of a very stable genius President. ds

No oil dripping, exhaust system losing, Lucas Prince of Darkness big Healey deserves such odious comparison, John. But we hear you. Given Trumpty Dumpty’s Russian oligarch indebtedness, perhaps Loomer more accurately compared with a Yugo.
