A TRAGIC AND SAD TIME
I HAD SCHEDULED AN AAAS SCIENCE editorial about misinformation as today’s SimanaitisSays item. Horrifically, the attempted assassination of Donald Trump had transformed all this.
It is immensely tragic that one person with an AR-15-type weapon can subvert the entire American people’s voting process.
Many people throughout the political spectrum have called for unity. Let’s hope their thoughts prevail through and after November 5. ds

re: misinformation

Obviously, Dennis’s splendid and ranging site a fount of scientific as well as general knowledge, it’s become a daily must for many of us who lament the support Bratman/Orange Julius/Trumpty Dumpty/Oswald Cobblepot has garnered, his threat to democracy.
While we do everything possible to undo Bratman and the 1933 Germany 2.0 of his Project 2025, we do this civilly, not with firearms or violence.
This attempt on his life all the worse as if successful, Bratman’s followers would deify him. Let’s see if this sorry event at the very least dials down some of the Trumplican support for the NRA.
